Super Cardio Workout

WOW! That is all I can say. I received a Super Cardio DVD from Tony. I thought I would try it on my MCM students. I just added a few jacks in between, couldn't hurt anything right? They were huffing and puffing after the first segment. Who would have thought. Right!

I hope they will be ready for the Plyo legs tonight. I am just going to add some push-ups in there as well. I think it will give them a great workout. We did Back and Biceps on Monday, the crazy Super Cardio last night and then Legs and Chest tonight which doing push-ups is an all around exercise.

After the super cardio, I incorporated the Killer Abs which I think I am going to use on my Core Training folks today. They are going to die. Love it.

280 total crunches, from The Butterfly ups, in and outs, legs straight up, the the upright bicycles, forward and backward. yep, it was grueling.

Chest and Back!

OMG, so the class at 8:00 was small. What happened to everyone. I guess the cardio really got to them.

Yesterday, we did Chest and Back to kick off the 6 weeks. I did not make them do the Dive Bombers push-ups because I did not think they were ready for that yet. So, I decided just to leave that one off.

The first class went great. Everyone had really great form. I was really impressed. They really had a hard time on some of the push-ups.

You know there is someone in every crowd that just can do everything. I have a female who is like that. I had one from the last class too. Really going to push her this six weeks.

The second class, I decided to workout with them. I only had five kids, so I thought sure I can do this too. Why not. I want to get ripped too. I am a little sore today. Hey, I have losted my Christmas weight. Yeah me!

Seems like I always get too involved to take pictures on weight training days. Tomorrow is cardio day and we are going to rock and will have pictures.

I found some pictures!

Hey, I forgot that Chelsey had taken some pictures.

So, here is a look at the group. Now this group will be divided up into two sessions back to back. I think I amd going to be wiped out after the 12 weeks. I better have trimmed some weight.

Here are the fearless leaders.

Group has Doubled

OMG, the group has doubled since last semester. I really stoked about this. We have 26 people. They are all ready to get fit and take their level of fitness up a notch.

Last night we did our testing. There is great room for improvement. The veterans did really great against the wall-sits. We had Hardin-Simmons versus McMurry. It was awesome.

Tonight is the first night for cardio. We will definitely see who is in shape and who is not.

Dada is lined up for the first have of the session, then I will come in and do a couple of Turbo spots. I am excited about that. I wish I could video tape them. I will see if Connor can tape it.

Ready to Bring It!

Yes, I am ready to bring again this next semester. I have some great new exercises to throw at the veterans of this program.

I have a great group of kids. I have right now 21 signed up. That is amazing. It keeps growing and growing which is good.

Dada just informed me that next semester the Fall 09 we should be able to get the Core Pole. I am so excited about that. That means more exercises and more plyometrics to incorporate. Yeah!

I just love a great workout. I will be getting a double workout having back to back classes.

There is a class at 8:00 and a class at 9:00 p.m. If you are interested, let's do it.

Come on, what do you have to lose, nothing but gain strength and lose a little body fat. All good for you.

Getting Extreme

Looks like I am going to have a big group this time. I am going to have to divide the group up into two shifts.

15 people is about the max due to shortage of weights and room in the Field House. We have to use the football players workout area because they have the pull up machine or equipment that we can improvise with and I like that.

Can't wait to start again.

It's Time Again

I hope everyone had a great Christmas break. I am ready and pumped to start again.

I hope we have some new faces to get on track. I hope everyone did something over the holidays so it won't like we will be starting over.

I can't wait to get started again.
